Tasty benefit to choose the best chili in Seminole County

The International Facilities Management Association's Chili Cook Off is taking place next month in nearby Winter Park.

A portion of all proceeds from this event will benefit Rebuilding Together Orlando. Also known as the ‘Superbowl of Chili’, competitors in the event are encouraged to dress up as their favorite football team. There is still room for vendors to showcase their chili; fees for booths range in price from $200 up to $450.

Guests will enjoy appetizers and drinks, and will be able to taste as many samples of chili as they want before casting their vote for the People's Choice. The Judge's Choice will be chosen by yet-to-be-named celebrity judges, with prizes to be awarded to the two winners. There is also a Superbowl Football Pool to be won.

It is likely that the vendors will come from several surrounding areas, such as Longwood. To make their booths look more attractive, many may invest in the services of local banner printing companies.

The Chili Cook Off will be held at the Winter Park Community Center on February 4 from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm. Tickets are $50 for IFM associates, $30 for the guests of facility managers, and $100 for nonmembers; the price includes two drinks, appetizers, and chili.
