The 27th annual Maitland Spring Festival of the Arts is taking place over two days this April, hosted by the Maitland Area Chamber of Commerce.
This juried show is set to feature more than 100 artists and crafters. Items for sale will include ceramics, jewelry, photographs, watercolor paintings, and handmade clothing. There will also be live entertainment and musical performances.
Each vendor paid $225 for their space, although those who won their categories last year only had to pay $185. Prizes are awarded in two categories: Art and Crafts. Cash prizes are awarded for first, second, third, and merit; the first place winner in each category receives $800 and overall Best in Show wins $1,000.
Sponsorships are available for $750 up to $2,500, and an artists’ dinner is being held on the first day at the Venue on the Lake at the Maitland Civic Center.
Art lovers and artists from all over the area, including nearby Longwood, will no doubt want to take the time to visit this show. To spread the word, local Stationery printers may be asked to provide Flyers and Posters.
The Maitland Spring Festival of the Arts is being held at Lake Lily from April 11 to 12. Admission is free.
