Major Earth Day celebration returns to Florida

The Party for the Planet is taking place next month in central Florida.

As one of the biggest Earth Day parties in North America, the event will feature interactive exhibits about the environment, Earth Day crafts, and many other environmental education activities for kids of all ages.

Guests can also take part in the regular ‘Meet the Keeper’ activities and say hello to such animals as a rhino, cheetah, snake, and lemur, and witness alligator feeding. There will also be presentations on topics such as Wild Tales and Flying High.

Earth Day was first observed in 1970 and is celebrated in communities around the world. This free event is a free event celebrates it and is included with zoo admission, though some activities may also have a small cost associated with them. Admission is $19.50 for adults, $15.95 for seniors, and $13.75 for children between the ages of 3 and 12.

This party should attract families from the area, including those from Longwood. To help make sure as many people know about it as possible, organizers may have contacted local Print companies for help with marketing materials.
