The Serenity Now Yoga and Dance facility in Longwood, Florida will be hosting an adult yoga course this April.
The Cuplet Fern Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society has partnered with Serenity Now Yoga and Dance to hold a class that will teach adults about gentle rejuvenating yoga techniques. The course will include instructions on how to gently stretch while giving calming reaffirmations and playing introspective music. There will also be a cleansing sound bath during the yoga class.
After the adult yoga course is completed, all students will participate in a native plant exchange. Plants were selected rather than typical Corporate Gifts due to the studio's partnership with the Cuplet Fern Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society, and because plants are believed to better fit the themes taught in the yoga class. Exchanging these presents will help unify those who attend the course while promoting the preservation of Florida’s native plant life.
The Gentle Rejuvenating Yoga course will be held on April 27 from 11:45 am to 1:30 pm. The class will cost $12 per person and will include a donation to the Cuplet Fern with the purchase. Yoga mats will be provided to those attending the course. Everyone who participates in the class is encouraged to bring a native plant to use during the exchange.
