The Post Time Lounge Cafe and Patio will be holding an autism awareness event this September in Longwood.
Rocking for Autism Awareness is a concert dedicated to supporting those impacted by autism. There will be seven talented groups playing during the event, including Picture Show, ThunderJack, and the hosting band Sound Theory. Several items can be purchased during the show, such as cookbooks, wristbands, and T-Shirts. The venue will also be offering drink specials for guests at the event. Businesses that host charitable activities like this can spread awareness for their event with poster printing services.
Attendees can show their support for those with autism by participating in the concert’s activities, like the event’s silent auction and raffles. People can also make a small donation to get a picture with The Art of Gene. Kenny Wilkerson and Gino Giovanni will be giving special guest presentations at the concert. Companies can help the cause by sponsoring VIP tables and donating items to use at the auction and raffle.
The show will be held on September 13 and will begin at noon. There is no set price for the event, though it is recommended to give a $10 donation at the door. Those interested in volunteering for the occasion can call the organizer. People can also donate items for the raffle.
