Drama Kids of Central Florida will be working with Emotions Dance Inc. to create a superhero-inspired dance camp for children in Longwood this summer.
The superhero dance camp is an event where campers will use the power of dance to defeat the villains who have taken over the Drama Kids studio. The students will learn several types of dancing while at the camp, including ballet, acro, and jazz. Campers who participate in the course will be encouraged to perform to their fullest potential while also learning lifelong skills that can help them be successful. The workshop is open to kids of all experience levels.
Drama Kids is a creative education program founded in 1985 to help children and young adults gain more confidence and discover their potential. The organization organizes a variety of unique drama activities, such as camps themed after Hollywood and Broadway. The dance camp will be held from July 13 to July 17 from 9:00 am to noon, and will cost $165 per camper. The activity is intended for kids who are six to twelve years old.
