The 36th annual Longwood Arts and Crafts Festival will take place in Historic Longwood next month. The festival has free admission and is presented by the Central Florida Society for Historic Preservation.
All artists and crafters must apply to take part in this juried festival and there are over $10,000 in prizes that will be given away. There will no doubt be such items sold as original paintings, pottery, ceramics, toys, carved wooden items, and even possibly furniture. All items must be handmade and homemade and no commercial sales are allowed. Booths, measuring at 10’ x 10’ can be rented for $225.
The festival will be a good place for the community to discover many talented artists and crafters from the area and will give those artisans a chance to show what they are capable of. It will also be a good place to start holiday gift shopping. Everyone will love to receive a one-of-a-kind homemade item as a gift from a loved one.
