Seafood enthusiasts can attend a pirate-themed food festival in March, held at Reiter Park in Longwood.
The Annual Longwood Pirate Seafood Festival is set to be an entertaining showcase of the region’s best food vendors. Live music will be played during the gathering throughout the day, and there will be plenty of room for social distancing. This year, the free kid zone will not be available at the festival due to the current pandemic. While the event’s focus is on seafood, there will be various food trucks offering dishes suitable for landlubbers.
Businesses originally meant to attend last year’s canceled festival will be automatically accepted into the upcoming gathering. The event organizers will not bill the company for this year’s booth fee. Retailers will also be featured at the festival for attendees to browse. Organizations have the option to become a sponsor at the event for either $1,000 or $5,000. Activities that offer sponsorship options such as this can feature their benefactors by using banner printing services.
The seafood festival will be held on Saturday, March 27 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Sunday, March 28 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. People do not need to register for the gathering in advance, and admission is free to the public. Attendees can purchase dishes directly from the vendors using a credit card or cash.
