A selection of the Sunshine State’s brewers will soon be showcasing their talent and creativity during a special Longwood event that will raise funds for the Sharing Center.
All of the breweries that will be participating in the Florida SMaSH Beer Festival will be crafting a beer using the same single hop and single malt. The organizers explained that this will force them to exercise their creative skills and think outside the box to brew a distinctive and tasty beer.
The public is welcome to get involved in the event by coming out to sample to more than 80 offerings that will be crafted for the occasion. Both general and VIP admission options are available, and the price starts at $35 each.
Those who purchase a regular admission ticket will be able to enjoy all of the craft brews, and the first 400 will receive a tasting glass. VIP ticket holders will be granted early entry, and will also receive both the tasting glass and a T-shirt. This opportunity for the public to both enjoy some of the state’s craft beers while helping a cause will be taking place on September 8. It will begin at 4:00 pm, and will be held at 300 W. Warren Avenue.
