JW Enterprizes will be organizing a themed ball in June at the Longwood Community Building, inspired by The Great Gatsby.
The Flower Moon Gatsby Ball is a formal event where guests can enjoy an evening of dancing. Professional dancers will provide attendees with entertainment, and there will be a beginner’s class for those interested in learning to dance. Amy Davenport and Rusty Phillips will DJ between dancing sessions. Those going to the ball are expected to wear black and white tuxedos and formal dresses, though people may also dress in vintage clothing.
There will be music provided by the Z Street Gatsby Band, who will play era-appropriate music to accompany the dancing. The group performs at over 140 events each year and has opened for people like Taylor Swift, Howie Mandell, and Matteo Bocelli. The band leader is Mark Zauss, who is the group’s trumpet player and male vocalist. Entertainers such as this can connect with interested clientele with Business Cards.
The ball will occur on Saturday, June 26 from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. People can purchase individual tickets in advance for $25 or can pay $30 at the door during the event. VIP tables will be available for $300 and can seat up to eight individuals. Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages are included. Additional treats will be served to the VIP tables.
