Longwood association to give seminar on recruiting

The Employees Association Forum in Longwood will be offering a presentation in March about finding staff members during challenging times.

Recruiting in Times of Uncertainty is an educational program taught by Darlene Stuart Goddard for companies interested in learning how to attract and find skilled applicants. Those who take part in the seminar will be taught how to develop marketing messages that draw in candidates, deploy targeted recruiting campaigns, and build a talent pool for future openings. The event will be open to non-members of the Employees Association Forum.

Darlene Stuart Goddard is a graduate of the University of Evansville and has worked as a Florida State Supreme Court Certified County Court Mediator. She currently works for the Employees Association Forum as an HR consultant and regional representative. Goddard has over 30 years of managerial and executive experience in multiple industries, including healthcare and manufacturing. She also specializes in coaching and recruiting.

The recruiting seminar will take place on Tuesday, March 1 from 9:00 am to noon and will cost $125 for members of the forum. Non-members may attend the event for $175. People who take part in the presentation, for which registration is mandatory, can receive three HRCI & SHRM Credits. Organizations that host informative workshops such as this may use flyer printing to attract more attention for their events.
