Whether they are a green thumb or garden newbie, an area event will soon be offering the public from Longwood and other communities a chance to add new skills to their gardening toolbox.
Volunteers with the UF/IFAS Seminole County’s Master Gardening program will be among those on hand during the 2019 Seminole County Garden Expo, and they will welcome everyone who decides to stop by and check it out for themselves. The organizers have filled the schedule for the day with a variety of horticultural activities, and a plant sale has also been planned.
The agenda for the expo opens at 9:00 am, and hydroponic demonstrations, butterfly and organic gardening, and ‘how to’ clinics are all slated for the day. There will be special activities for the kids, and food and entertainment will also be on offer.
Tickets are available ahead of the occasion, and they can also be purchased at the gate. A company that prepares Corporate Gifts can be counted upon to supply T-Shirts for volunteers, as well as raffle prizes and a variety of other Promotional Products for an event like this.
UF/IFAS Extension of Seminole County will be welcoming members of the public to its annual expo, which will be taking place on February 23. It will be located at 250 W. County Home Road in Sanford.
