Local not-for-profit preparing to celebrate

A Longwood area group that helps the homeless and low-income members of the community access healthcare and other services with dignity will soon be marking a special occasion, and the public has been invited to join the party.

Health Care Center for the Homeless, Inc. will be celebrating its 25th year, and it will be hosting a fundraising breakfast. Everyone who would like to be a part of the festivities is welcome, and while tickets are free, all donations will be appreciated.

The doors of the event are scheduled to open at 7:30 am, and guests are asked to register upon arrival. After this, they can enjoy the breakfast buffet and then take in the formal program, which will be starting at 8:00 am. The monies raised through the function will be used to help make sure that everyone in the community, including those who are homeless or who have a home but no health insurance, has access to medical care. Banner printing for this type of event can be provided by a local Print company.

This fundraiser and celebration of two years of helping others will be held on June 1. It has been scheduled for The Alfond Inn at Rollins College in Winter Park, and its organizer’s website is the place to visit for more information or to make a donation.
