Local food and business celebrated next month

A couple of events taking place this March will likely draw visitors from all around the Longwood area.

First up, the 21st Taste of Oviedo is a daylong celebration presented by the Greater Oviedo Chamber of Commerce. This year's theme is ‘Cirque’ and it will feature entertainers such as jugglers, aerialists, and contortionists.

Guests can also enjoy live entertainment on the kids’ stage, face painting, bounce houses, and local vendors. A popular part of this event, which regularly attracts over 50,000 visitors each year, is the Citrus and Celery Cookoff, in which participants compete for prizes in each category.

Later on in the month is the 10th Taste of Lake Mary. This is presented by the Rotary Club of Lake Mary and raises funds for local charities. It will feature food and wine and exhibits from local businesses.

Both of these events are sure to attract people from nearby communities such as Longwood. Local Print companies may provide Flyers that can be used to spread the word.
