The Orlando Public Library is hosting LibCon this June at a downtown branch.
The event is set to feature 27 published writers in all genres, who will be reading from their works and signing Copies of their Books.
The keynote speaker is Rick Yancey, a New York Times bestselling author who wrote ‘The 5th wave’, which will soon be made into a film. Among the other authors to appear are Lori Goldstein, H.D Smith, Jeff Strand, Ethan Long and the YA Chicks, Vivi Barnes, Christina Farley, and Amy Christine Parker.
Attendees can also take part in panel discussions for both readers and aspiring writers, and attend writing workshops led by the authors; it will also be a chance for many to meet some of their favorite writers, or to discover new books to read.
It is likely that many of the authors who will be attending will be letting their fans know about this event. Some may invest in flyer printing services to let people from all over, including nearby Longwood, know where they will be appearing.
LibCon will be held at the Central branch of the Orlando Public Library today (June 27), from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Admission is free.
