Dates to work for everyone in Longwood

Kristen Manieri, the self-professed dating guru dedicating to helping couple make the most of their “date night”, has introduced a unique date night idea.

The founder of OrlandoDateNightGuide.com has partnered with the nonprofit Feeding Children Everywhere to provide a way for couples to have fun and do a good deed all at the same time. Couples can volunteer to come to the Longwood facility of Feeding Children Everywhere and assemble meals for the charity.

The first hour of the evening will be spent in “meal making” to facilitate the group’s mission of sending meals to hungry children around the world. That will be followed by an hour of couples’ trivia while enjoying beer and food courtesy of Cask & Larder.

With the assistance of a poster printing service, Feeding Children Everywhere could make this a regularly scheduled event.

In addition to the trivia contest, couples can compete in meal assembly and take part in a raffle for a unique set of prizes that include a private pub crawl for eight from Limo Cycle, a Barnie’s Coffee Kitchen brunch, and passes to all three I-Drive 380 attractions.

The ‘Do Good Date Night’ costs $35 per couple and takes place from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm this Saturday, September 26. For that price, couple gets get to do something fun together, eat, mingle, make a difference, and maybe even win prizes.
