The 2017 Teach of the Year Celebration is taking place next month in nearby Lake Mary.
Presented by the Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools, the celebration will showcase 63 of the top teachers in Seminole County; this includes three finalists at each grade level. At the end of the evening, one teacher will be chosen as Teacher of the Year and will go on to represent the county, and be in the running for the State of Florida's Teacher of the Year. All of the nominated teachers will receive a gift bag filled with goodies provided by local businesses.
Guests, who will most likely consist of teachers, their friends, family, and employers, will enjoy a cocktail reception, which will be followed by dinner and a program.
Sponsorships for this event are available for purchase for $750, $1,200, and $3,000, which include tickets.
This will also be an excellent networking opportunity for Seminole County teachers from communities such Longwood. Many attending may be investing in business card printing service in advance so they will be able to keep in touch with those they meet.
The Teacher of the Year Celebration will be held at the Westin Lake Mary on March 17 from 5:15 pm to 8:30 pm. To learn more about Teacher of the Year or about the Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools, contact Susan Roberts Zettler at 407-320-0196.
