Themed tea party to benefit Fort Lauderdale opera society

The Opera Society will organize a fundraising tea party in February at the Coral Ridge Yacht Club in Fort Lauderdale.

The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party is an activity where opera fans can gather to help raise funds for the Florida Grand Opera. The event will start with a Prosecco Reception and then have a high tea party with sandwiches and desserts. Attendees are invited to participate in the party’s Parade of Hats competition. Prizes will be given to guests with the most elegant, vintage, or creative hat. There is also a prize for the hat that wins Gentleman’s Choice.

The Opera Society is a cultural organization that is affiliated with the Florida Grand Opera. The group was founded in 1978 to increase the community’s interest in opera and give music lovers a place to meet like-minded friends. The organization has worked with several notable performers, such as Plácido Domingo, Helen Donath, and Evelyn Lear. People can become a regular member of the society for $60. Students can pay $20 to join The Opera Society.

The fundraising tea party will be held on Saturday, February 17 from 2:30pm to 5:00pm. Tickets to the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party are $90 per person. Those who can’t make it to the fundraiser can also donate on The Opera Society’s website. Cultural organizations raising funds with events like this may use poster printing to advertise their causes to local audiences.
