The 35th VCA Walk for the Animals is set to take place this February in Fort Lauderdale.
As South Florida’s premier dog walk, this event offers participants the chance to stroll along the scenic coastline while supporting the Humane Society of Broward County.
The single-mile walk is open to all and free to participate in. It will feature seller booths, entertainment, and prizes.
The day will begin at 7:30 am with registration, donation drop-offs, breakfast, and activities. At 8:30 am, the sponsor awards ceremony will kick off, followed by the walk at 9 am. Participants who raise $150 or more will receive a walk t-shirt, while those collecting $1k or more will enter their dog into a contest to become the 2026 Walk Cover Dog.
Special guest emcees include Jade Alexander, Jacey Birch, Martica Lopez, and the Easy 93.1 team of Bobby Mitchell, Nikki, and Mike Kruz.
Attendees should note that The festivities will continue online with the Draws for Paws auction, which will close at noon on Sunday, February 2nd.
This pet-friendly event combines fun, community, and a meaningful cause. All proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Broward County, supporting their mission to help animals in need.
Print shops may be used by organizers to create a printed list of special guests of events such as this one.
