Business for the Arts Broward (BFA) will organize a multi-day mural painting event in Downtown Fort Lauderdale.
The BFA Art Walls Mural Fest is a community experience where people can watch several artists create murals while supporting local causes. Each artist will create a piece inspired by the mission of their chosen organization. Many nonprofits will be represented at the fest, such as the Inside Out Theatre Company, Museum of Discovery Science, and the Old Davie School Museum. Youth artists will also get to create their own murals during the art festival.
The BFA is a not-for-profit group that educates the business community about the importance of art and builds connections between economic development and creative success. Many programs have been created by the BFA, such as Art in the Workplace, the Arts Mean Business Speaker Series, and Art & Somm. Organizations such as this share details about their causes by using printing services to make informative Brochures and Posters.
The mural-themed festival will be held from February 28th to March 1st. There is no cost for families to attend the event, and there will even be free activities for guests to enjoy. Those interested in joining a special kickoff event for the mural fest can pay $50. The experience will be held on February 26th at the BBX Capital Office from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Guests will get to meet the participating artists during this party.
