Airborne safety organization to hold event in Fort Lauderdale

The Airborne Public Safety Association (APSA) will organize a summer conference in Fort Lauderdale at the Broward County Convention Center.

APSCON is an event where people can learn about topics in airborne public safety while networking with subject matter experts. There will be an exhibitor hall that people can visit with vendors such as True Blue Power, the Robinson Helicopter Company, and the National Nuclear Security Administration. The event will also have TECH TALK Sessions, conference classes, and group meals. The host agency for the convention is the Broward Sheriff’s Office Aviation Unit.

Companies can become sponsors for APSCON by paying for packages that start at $850. Businesses may pay $1,800 to sponsor one of the daily coffee breaks for the convention, and the cost to sponsor the awards reception will be $10,000. Those who become course sponsors for $2,615 will receive benefits like a colored advertisement in Air Beat magazine and the ability to give out distributable materials to event-goers.

APSCON will be held from July 13 to July 17. People who want full access to the conference can pay $415 for passes. Members of the APSA will receive discounted admission to the convention. Students can enter the event for $175. Safety associations that organize large conventions like this may use banner printing services to promote their sponsors to consumers.
