Russian ballet showcases in Fort Lauderdale

The Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida will showcase a ballet performance in Fort Lauderdale this March.

The event will highlight the compositions of Maurice Ravel and Sergei Prokofiev in a mixed repertory production.

The program will feature excerpts from Vladimir Issaev’s adaptation of The Tale of the Stone Flower, a ballet based on a Russian folktale. The ballet follows Danila, a rock carver, on his journey to uncover true artistic beauty.

Accompanied by Prokofiev’s score, the ballet tells a story of perseverance and love. Also included is Issaev’s Classic Symphony, a piece known for its technical precision and artistic depth, performed by the full company.

Tickets to the event cost $40 and can be purchased through the TicketMaster listing. Additional fees will be applied.

Attendees should note that parking will be available at the A&E District Garage which offers lighted parking for $15 per event, valid for six hours. Valet parking is also available for $30-$45. For additional information, attendees can visit the event's official listing.
