Residents of Fort Lauderdale can look forward to an entertaining evening as a popular metal group performs this February.
Pennsylvania metalcore band August Burns Red will be bringing their 20th Anniversary Tour to the area, featuring performances from other well-known groups within the same genre. The show comes as a part of the club celebration tour, and each leg of it features a different band in the same genre. Special guests at the Fort Lauderdale show will be Bleed From Within and The Devil Wears Prada.
August Burns Red formed in late 2003 in Pennsylvania during the members' high school years. They built up a loyal following playing small shows in local venues throughout the state. They later released their first full-length album in 2005, which garnered more attention across the country and internationally. The group consists of Jake Luhrs as lead vocalist, JB Brubaker, Brent Rambler, Matt Greiner, and Dustin Davidson.
