Greek festival to bring the fun to Ft. Lauderdale

Ft. Lauderdale will soon be saying “opa!” to the world when its hosts a celebration of Greek food, culture, music, and traditions.

The city will be putting its Greek community front and center during its 41st annual Greek Festival. It is presented to the community thanks to the efforts of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, and will give kids and adults alike a way to enjoy themselves on a February afternoon.

The celebration, which will take place not far from Ft. Lauderdale’s downtown core, will offer the public lots of food and fun. They can sample a variety of Greek dishes, and there will be demonstrations of traditional Greek folk dancing, music and even a Kids Zone. The adults can enjoy trying out some Greek libations, and the Greek Bazaar will be the place to stop for those who can use a bit of retail therapy.

Attending a large event like this can be a lot of fun, and a banner printing company can play a part in creating a memorable experience. It can prepare custom designed Banners, Signs and other large items, and these can be crafted from materials that are ideal for use outdoors.

The 41st annual Ft. Lauderdale Greek Festival will be welcoming the public at 820 NE 14th Avenue. It is scheduled to run from February 6 until 9.
