Fort Lauderdale ladies looking for an excuse to enjoy an evening out with their friends and colleagues may find a local fundraising mixer may be just what they are looking for.
A women-only celebration has been planned for October, and it will be on offer in YOLO Restaurant at Las Olas. To help raise awareness about breast cancer, the theme for the occasion will be “Pretty in Pink”, and ticket holders are asked to wear their favorite pink outfit for the occasion.
The function will give members of the Fort Lauderdale business community a chance to meet and network, and many local businesses will be offering giveaways. Swag Bags filled with Corporate Gifts will be handed out to the first 50 ladies to arrive, and there will be opportunities for the guests to mingle, shop, enjoy a cocktail and just plain have a good time. A photographer will be on hand to take some fun and candid shots, and admission to the function is free of charge.
The evening, which has been planned by Fort Lauderdale Housewives in the City, may still have space available for local vendors that are looking for an opportunity to showcase their services and products. Anyone who is interested in this has been asked to contact mandy@housewivesinthecity.com.
This chance for the local community of businesswomen and other professionals to meet and mingle will be held on October 1st. The doors will open to the ticket holders at 5:30 pm.
