Buying their first home is a dream many Fort Lauderdale residents want to make happen, and an upcoming workshop may just help to bring that goal a little bit closer.
Consolidated Credit wants to help put home ownership within reach of as many as possible, and it is hosting a session for first-time buyers. It is free to take a seat in the event, and it will be a daylong activity.
During the workshop, the attendees will learn about the barriers that can prevent them from buying a home, and they will then discover a variety of ways that they can overcome them. Having too much debt, credit issues, or insufficient income will all be addressed, and there will also be a review of various programs and initiatives that can lend a hand.
The organizers of the day explained that it is HUD (Housing and Urban Development) approved, and everyone who register will need to check in with a valid photo ID. Certificates will be given to all the participants at the end of the class, and these sorts of customized documents can be sourced from area printers that craft Letterheads and other Stationery.
The First Time Homebuyer workshop will begin at 9:00 am on November 14. Consolidated Credit, which is located at 5701 West Sunrise Boulevard, and a more detailed description of the function can be found on its online listing.
