Gin is a beverage that has been enjoyed for many years, and along with its base ingredients, it often includes a variety of botanicals. These help to give each variety its own unique character, and a Fort Lauderdale distillery will be giving the public an opportunity to create their own special blend.
The students who participate in the “Distill Your Own Gin” course will discover the different varieties of the drink and what makes them unique. They will be introduced to the basics of distillation, and the event is open to anyone who is at least 21 years of age.
Once the learners have found out about the different methods of gin making, they will be invited to give the 90-minute process a try for themselves. They will also choose the flavoring for their blend, and it will then be bottled and labeled so that it can be stored or enjoyed right away.
All materials used in the class are included in the registration fee. Stationery printers can supply adhesive label blanks as well as many other items to give the organizer of this sort of workshop plenty of ways for the pupils to customize their creations.
The location for this introduction to the art of crafting gin will be taking place at 2608 South Federal Highway. The cost to register is $100.
