In five months’ time, Fort Lauderdale will host the Publix A1A Marathon and Half Marathon. Set in a destination with warm, mild weather, and ocean breezes, the event attracts thousands of people.
Colavita presents the 26.2-mile run featuring athletes from across the globe competing in this coastal area. Last year, more than 4,000 participants attended the event. In addition to the marathon activities, several other events will be included.
The marathon course is designed to showcase the beauty of South Florida with the ocean being the finish line, and acts as a training venue to achieve Boston Marathon qualifying times.
Banner printing from a local Print company will no doubt ensure proper and visible signage for the runners. Banners can provide directional guidance when placed strategically throughout the course.
The Publix A1A Marathon and Half Marathon will take place on February 15, 2015 beginning at 401 SW 2nd Street at 6:00 am. The course will wind through Fort Lauderdale and finish at 801 Seabreeze Blvd.
Ensuring family fun, the A1A Fun Run Kid’s Race will begin at 11:45 am and is open to children running alone or with parents. Beginning at Mile 25, the kids’ course will encompass 1.2 miles.
