For the past seven years, the Fort Lauderdale Riverwalk Stone Crab and Seafood Festival has proven to be the place to be for its seafood lovers, and this year will be no exception.
This all-ages event is held right in the middle of the local stone crab fishing season. It is held in Esplanade Park, which is right in the heart of the city’s downtown, and it serves to celebrate the area’s shellfish industry and the role it plays in the area's economy.
A selection of the area’s premier seafood restaurants and traditional ‘go to’ eateries will be serving up signature dishes, and these will be offered to the public starting at $5 each. There will also be a variety of cold drinks on tap, with music providing a casual and friendly atmosphere.
The hermit crab races, which tend to be a crowd favorite, will be back for another year, and there will also be a beer garden on site. Those who plan on taking part in the day can bring along a folding chair or blanket so they can relax and enjoy the day. They are asked to leave any outside food at home. Printed items for an event like this – such as marketing Flyers, crab bibs, and even a customized banner to mark both the start and finish line for the hermit crab races – can all be provided by area Print shops.
Fort Lauderdale will be hosting this seafood celebration on January 12. The fun is set to begin at 11:00 am.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Print
