The Westin in Fort Lauderdale will hold an event in May to celebrate the achievements of special mothers in the community.
The Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies 31st Annual Mother’s Day Luncheon is an event that honors mothers who are advocates, educators, and life savers. Several women are on this year’s list of outstanding mothers, including Caren Snead Williams, Ashley Boxer, and Rose McKelvie. Businesses interested in sponsoring the luncheon can purchase tiers between $650 and $5,000. The benefits of supporting the gathering include colored ads in the event program and name recognition on the luncheon’s printed materials.
The Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Broward County is an organization that was created in 1987 to help combat the high rate of infant mortality in the community. The group develops programs and provides resources that support low-income families, such as The Mahogany Project, MOMS4WELLNESS, and M-Power. The organization also gives financial assistance to families with emergency medical needs and offers bereavement support. People can volunteer with the group by joining The Wings Society.
The luncheon will be held on Tuesday, May 7th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Individual tickets to the event are $125 per person. People can also support Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies by donating to the group. Community resource organizations such as this can use banner printing services to advertise their upcoming galas and luncheons to more people.
