Fort Lauderdale residents are getting ready for the 11th Annual Jazz in the Gardens Music Festival. The event promises to fill up a whole weekend with music, food, fun, and excitement.
The main draw of the weekend is the jazz itself, which features some top talent. Classic stars like Aretha Franklin, Kool and the Gang, and Regina Belle will play alongside more modern artists like Usher, Janelle Monae, and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds.
The Music Festival is among the highest profile jazz concerts in the U.S., drawing in more than 78,000 attendees last year, and looking to bring in even more visitors for 2016.
Aside from the music, the festival also has a number of opportunities for socializing and shopping. The weekend kicks off with a Women’s Impact Luncheon and an opening night party. Vendors will be there for the entire event, offering food and various Promotional Products and merchandise to people looking to take a break from the concerts.
The celebration will take place March 18-20 at the Sun Life Stadium located at 2269 Dan Marino Blvd in Opa Locka. Tickets are $50 a day when purchased in advance, or $62 when bought the day of the event. Vendor opportunities are still available, and interested businesses can fill out an application form. Anyone interested in attending should visit the website for more information.
