The CONCACAF Gold Cup 2023 kicks off next month, with Fort Lauderdale hosting all the preliminary round games, and being one of the 14 host cities for the main tournament.
The Gold Cup is the main international men’s soccer tournament in the CONCACAF region, which comprises North America, Central America and the Caribbean. The US won the competition last time it was held in 2021, and is now co-hosting it with Canada.
There are still three places in the main tournament to be determined, and they will be decided over nine games at Fort Lauderdale’s DRV PNK Stadium from July 16 to 20. A total of 12 nations are vying for a spot in the competition, with Trinidad and Tobago taking on Guadeloupe in the opening game. Tickets for these preliminary games can be bought on the CONCACAF website.
The DRV PNK Stadium will also play an important role in the main tournament, hosting four games. The first of them will be on June 25, when Nicaragua face an as-yet unconfirmed qualifier from the prelims. The stadium hosts two games on June 26, with another qualifier from the prelims taking on El Salvador, and a confirmed clash between Costa Rica and Panama. The city’s schedule is rounded off on June 27 with Guatemala versus Cuba. The final will be in Inglewood, California on July 16.
Brochure printing companies usually play a part in major sports tournaments, as many fans like to buy programs and other printed memorabilia.
