Fort Lauderdale gathering planned for new families

Fort Lauderdale families on the grow may find that the Community Baby Shower taking place this spring offers lots to grab their attention.

Expecting moms and dads, as well as families with babies from newborn up to four months old, are on the guestlist for the activity, which will be set up at Veteran’s Park in Lauderhill. It will be a value-added experience, with an agenda that will combine learning with fun.

The function will feature displays set up by local small business, service providers, and not-for-profit groups, and these will provide the attendees an opportunity to learn about the programs on offer in their area. Dance activities, music and remarks from a guest speaker will take place, and the celebration has a run time of three hours.

Admission for the occasion is free, and one of the aspects of the afternoon that the guests may find especially exciting are the prize draws. Winners will go home with an assortment of Corporate Gifts and other prizes, and they may also be able to collect any Promotional Products the vendors will be distributing as swag.

The 5th Mother's Day Community Baby Shower will be showing some love to new mothers, as well as those who are soon to become mothers, on Saturday, May 6. It will run from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
