Fort Lauderdale finds time for loss prevention

In just over a month’s time, the 2014 NRF Loss Prevention Conference and Expo will take place in the area.

The schedule is packed with activities, including the opening night reception at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina in the Nanking Restaurant. The reception will kick off the conference with scenic views of the marina. Networking opportunities will be offered (so business professionals should consider placing a new digital business card printing order) while attendees enjoy hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. Conference badges can be picked up at the registration counter at that time, as well.

Held at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center, an invitation only Food Sector Breakfast will be held the following morning, providing a setting for retail loss prevention professionals within the food industry to network while discussing pertinent issues for their organizations. Attendees will include grocery store and drug store executives, along with mass market stores in the business.

For all other attendees, the breakfast event will be held in the Grand Ballroom Foyer as everyone prepares for the day’s activities. Keynote speaker Michael Chertoff as The Chertoff Group will present a discussion on the evolving nation of cyber security in the Grand Ballroom on June 11.
