A festival filled with family friendly fun is on the way for Fort Lauderdale. It will feature a ‘Mardi Gras’ theme, and everyone is invited to join the celebration.
This March will mark the 4th year for Fort Mardi Gras, and it is on offer free of charge. It will feature food, music, drinks and lot of other excitement, and it is intended to have the atmosphere of a block-style party. There will also be a Mardi Gras procession which will head out from Esplanade Park.
The organizers are hoping to offer an authentic experience, and this will include food inspired by Creole and Cajun style dishes. A huge crawfish boil is on the agenda, and this is just the beginning of the taste treats that will be on offer. Along with this, guests can visit the craft vendor table, get their faces painted, or just enjoy music from Big Chief, the Bad Apples Brass Band, and Tasty Vibrations.
Damn Good Hospitality is planning this community celebration for America’s Backyard, and everyone is welcome. Banners that welcome all the guests to the party can be prepared for an occasion like this by a local banner printing company.
This taste of New Orleans in Fort Lauderdale will begin at 5:00 pm on March 2. It will wrap up at 2:00 am on March 3.
