Fort Lauderdale families encouraged to make time for water safety

Fort Lauderdale is well known for its beaches and other waterside attractions, and a morning planned for the community will be putting water safety first for all ages.

Pediatric Associates Foundation has organized a three-hour-long event for local families that will seek to make fun in the water a safe activity for all ages. While it is free to participate, it will be a ticketed event, and preregistration is mandatory.

The plans for the morning include a variety of activities that will be emphasizing the fun and healthy aspects of swimming, with a focus on safety. It will be a learning experience for kids and adults alike, and it will be taking place in Hollywood’s TopeeKeegee Yugnee Park.

To thank the children for taking part and to help spread the word about water safety, each boy or girl who attends will be given a goody bag and free water shirt to take home with them. These will be distributed as long as supplies last. A printer can be counted on to supply these types of Corporate Gifts, and can help its customers choose one that is a good fit for both its needs and the funding available for a particular occasion.

Fort Lauderdale families are welcome to register for this event, which will be offered on June 15. Its scheduled start time is 9:00 am.
