The Visit Lauderdale (VL) Food & Wine Festival will soon put on its concluding event, Picnic in the Park, a presentation of the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.
The family event is a toy drive that will feature food trucks from Churro Mania, Miami Roasted Corn, Flavor House Grill, Burger Beast, Cuban Guys, and Monster Burgers. Live music will be provided by the Higher Ground Band. Those interested in attending can also take part in cooking classes for all ages. There will be local craft vendors on site, a kids’ zone, a cocktail bar for those 21 years old and older, and other amenities. Attendees are encouraged to take along blankets and chairs.
Picnic in the Park is free to attend. However, attendees are requested to bring at least one present that is brand new or unwrapped for the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital patients.
The event is sponsored by Allied Kitchen & Bath, FreshPoint Inc., and Kids Can Cook. Banner printing is a great way for organizers or food trucks to provide information at an event such as this.
