Fort Lauderdale Fashion Week presents Kids Fashion Weekend FLL next month.
The global event aims to provide children with the means to express themselves and hone their talents. It is a place where children between the ages of 5 and 15 years old can learn about the fashion industry, diversity, and acceptance, as they make friends.
The event is making a comeback, having been canceled three times previously because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Kids who are interested in modeling are required to register online. Models will walk the runway in outfits from local designers and international luxury brands. Prior to the show, models must take part in the models’ boot camp, where they will not only learn to walk on the runway but meet with designers and be a part of the mentorship program. Registration costs $200 plus a ticketing fee, while the pre-show photoshoot costs $100 plus a ticketing fee. General admission tickets for children 7 to 18 years cost $10, adult tickets cost $15, and front row tickets cost $25.
