Spring is right around the corner, and in Ft.Lauderdale, that means it will soon be time for a visit from a special guest.
The Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) plans a variety of family friendly activities throughout the year, and its annual ”Eggsploration” day is geared towards kids from ages 2 to 10. To help make sure the function goes smoothly and everyone has a chance to find lots of the hidden eggs, there will be separate start times for both age groups, and a request has been made for everyone to arrive 30 minutes ahead of their scheduled start time.
The kids will be hunting for eggs throughout the museum and grounds, and parents have been asked to make sure they bring along a basket to collect all the hidden treasures. Prizes will be awarded, and as the number of tickets of the event are limited, interested families may want to purchase theirs well in advance.
A part of the institution’s COVID-19 prevention protocols, masks are required for this activity. Print shops can provide items like contract tracing Forms, sign-in sheets, and other materials that all help to make this sort of day a lot safer for all involved.
Local families are encouraged to hop on in for this special day, taking place on April 3.
