The Fall Get Downtown will be hosted once again by the Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale at Yolo Plaza. The event is in its 16th year and, according to promoters, is the biggest outdoor cocktail in the city.
Along with the beverage festivities, flavors of Fort Lauderdale will be presented by several of the local restaurants in the community. Some of the participating restaurants include Tijuana Flats, Grille 401 Los Olas, Sky Thai Sushi, and Suzie’s Scrumptious Sweets.
The Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale has a mission to promote a sense of community amongst the residents and businesses in the city. The idea behind offering free admission is to give the participants the opportunity to network, mingle, and enjoy the evening. Promoting the downtown area as a viable place to live, work, and enjoy leisure activities is one of the main goals of the organization.
