Celebration to showcase South Florida seafood

A special event is set to make its return to Ft. Lauderdale for its 9th anniversary, and both seafood lovers and landlubbers alike will have lots to choose from.

For the past eight years, Riverwalk Stone Crab and Seafood Festival has given those who love food fresh from the sea an excuse to indulge.

This yearly event, which is planned so that in coincides with the middle of the state’s stone crab season, will be attracting foodies from all over Florida. All ages can enjoy the celebration, and it will be putting South Florida seafood front and center.

The eateries that have registered for the event will be serving up a selection of shellfish, fin fish and other fare, and the price for these dishes will start at $5. Cold drinks will also be available, and the popular hermit crab races will once again keep the crowd laughing.

The organizers of the function explained that it has been made possible through support from local companies such as Finster Murphy’s and BMW of Fort Lauderdale. Reusable pop-up Banners can be an economical choice for a business to use during this sort of temporary function, and Print shops will have plenty of styles for their customers to pick from.

Ft. Lauderdale’s Esplanade Park is set to offer this seafood celebration on January 11. The gates of the function will remain open from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm.
