Call center to up its personnel numbers

Cross County Home Services Inc., based in Fort Lauderdale, is planning to hire another 150 to 160 employees at its call center in Anderson over the next few months, in addition to the 227 employees that currently work there.

The company specializes in home management by providing maintenance plans and warranty products for the home. It has a total of 650 employees and a network of more than 40,000 independent service providers across the country, who replace, repair, and maintain home appliances and systems. Most of the new jobs are related to customer service.

In order to acquaint those who are interested in these positions, the company will be holding an open house from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at its call center location today, December 10. There will then be a job fair from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on December 16 at the Anderson Civic Center. The company is also accepting applications on a walk-in basis during its regular business hours from Monday through Friday.
