Boys Like Girls hosts concert in Fort Lauderdale

A popular rock group is scheduled to perform in Fort Lauderdale this September.

The group, known as Boys Like Girls, has garnered countrywide acclaim for their outstanding work in the field of alternative rock. Their music pulls influences from the mid- and late nineties pop punk era. They specialize in sugary and soft tunes such as “Two Is Better Than One”, which featured Taylor Swift’s vocals, as well as country-themed tunes such as “The First Time”. They took a hiatus after their 2012 album release, and returned to the stage in 2023 with their pop song “Blood and Sugar”.

The group consists of guitarist and vocalist Martin Johnson, bassist Bryan Donahue, guitarist Paul DiGiovanni and drummer John Keefe. The group was established in 2004 in Andover, where musical enthusiasts came together and caught the attention of industry leaders that represented already popular groups at the time such as My Chemical Romance and Panic! at the Disco. Since then, the group's talent has garnered them multiple billboard placements, a loyal fanbase and more.

The cost for tickets to this event will vary depending on seating preferences. These are available for sale on the Ticketmaster listing.
