Delray Beach to support local organization with seasonal fundraisers

The Achievement Centers for Children & Families (ACCF) will hold a themed fundraising event in Delray Beach.

The 12th Annual Witches of Delray Beach Bike Ride is an activity where people can dress as witches to help raise funds for the ACCF. More than 300 participants in the program will be biking from Anchor Park on decorated bicycles. The Delray Beach Police Department will guide the attendees along their route. Several awards can be won at the event, including Best Witch Cackle and Best Decorated Broom.

The ACCF is an organization that creates programs to address the needs of local children. Many services are offered by the group, such as providing free meals to kids and organizing educational summer programs. Companies can help the ACCF by becoming a sponsor for the bike ride. The sponsorships vary from $250 to $2,500 and include benefits like being included in the event’s goodie bag and featured on the fundraiser’s website.

The bike ride for witches will be held on Saturday, October 28 from 7:30 am to 11:30 am. Those interested in being part of the group ride can donate $50 to the ACCF. There will also be another local fundraiser held at Tim Finnegan’s Irish Pub on October 20 that can be joined for $40 per person. Companies that participate in similar activities can make Promotional Products to use for the program’s goodie Bags.
