A marketplace will be held at the Old School Square in Delray Beach this January to help children in need access life-changing therapies.
The Friends of Cecilia Fundraiser is an event where people can browse local vendors while giving back to kids in the community. The outdoor festival will feature many kinds of vendors in the marketplace, including children’s boutiques, food sellers, and wellness providers. People can also find handmade goods in the market. Children can participate in inclusive activities at the Kid Zone, and there will also be musical entertainment held at the park for all guests.
The marketplace is presented by Hope Warriors Inc. and will help raise money for intensive therapies for Cecilia, a 2-year-old child impacted by Cerebral Palsy. She has already made significant progress with treatments, and the funds raised at the market will allow her to undergo care that isn’t covered by insurance. The money raised at the program will also provide a full therapy scholarship for a second child in need. There will be opportunities for companies to sponsor this event.
The winter marketplace will take place on January 18th and will begin at 11:00 am. There is no cost for guests to attend and browse businesses at the venue, though people may purchase raffle tickets and enter a silent auction at the park. Organizations that host these fundraisers may use flyer printing services to inform people about their causes and events.
