A fundraiser benefiting the Crossroads Club will be held in November at the Old School Square in Delray Beach.
Taste of Recovery is an annual charitable contest where local restaurants offer samples and guests can vote on which eateries have the best bites. Louie Bossi, who is the executive chef at Big Time Restaurant Group’s Louie Bossi’s Ristorante, will host the event. Many restaurants will take part in the competition, including City Oyster and Ember Grille. Dave Scott & the Reckless Shots will provide live entertainment throughout the tasting event.
The Crossroads Club is an organization founded in 1982 as a refuge for people who wish to overcome their addictions. The club provides a meeting space for anonymous groups and offers life management training programs. There are many groups that use the venue on a weekly basis, such as One Day at a Time, Seniors in Sobriety, and Fearless Women in Recovery. The community can help support the Crossroads Club by volunteering or donating.
The tasting activity will be held on Saturday, November 5 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Tickets to the contest will cost guests $50. Those unable to make it to the Taste of Recovery can still make an online donation through Eventbrite. People who host events like this may use poster printing to let the community know about their future fundraisers.
