The Young Professionals Association of Delray Beach (YPAD) will be hosting a gathering in September at a local business.
The YPAD Social is an event where Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce members can interact and build genuine relationships. The networking activity will take place at Johnnie Brown’s, and all attendees will receive two complimentary drinks from the venue. Guests will also be given a raffle ticket. Participants are encouraged to bring Business Cards to trade with other attendees and follow up with who they meet after the event.
YPAD is a group in the Delray Beach chamber that organizes gatherings for younger professionals who are under the age of 40. The organization hosts networking events at several local venues, including the Silverball Retro Arcade, Las Catrinas, and Juniper Health. Members may also take part in volunteering activities, such as the group’s annual Beach Clean Up. Sarah Mears is the chamber liaison for the organization, and Amber Pollitt is the chair.
The social event will be held on September 28 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Members of the chamber can pay $15 to register in advance. Non-members may purchase tickets for $20. Solopreneurs interested in becoming part of the Delray Beach Chamber can become a member for $370, and those uninvolved with local businesses may become a friend of the Chamber for $150.
