D & B Tile of Delray Beach will be hosting a class in July presented by the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA).
The NTCA Workshop gives tile contractors a chance to connect with other professionals in their industry while learning about important topics related to their craft. Attendees will get to hear three presentations on subjects like best workplace practices, proper layout techniques, and common tiling failures. Refreshments and prizes will also be available for guests at the course. Those interested in networking with other tile contractors can use business card printing to provide their contact info to fellow workshop participants.
The NTCA is a non-profit trade association founded in 1947 that promotes the professional installation of stone and ceramic tiles. The group consists of over 1,500 contractors and is currently run by Martin Brookes. The organization gives several annual awards, such as the NTCA Ring of Honor Award and The NTCA Tile Person of the Year Award. The association even provides $1,000 and $5,000 scholarships to the children and grandchildren of their members.
The contractor's workshop will be held on Thursday, July 28 at 3:30 pm. The event's vendor fair and networking session will last until 5:00 pm, and the presentations will take place from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm. All participants must register in advance to join the NTCA's workshop.
