The Boca Ballet Theatre will hold a community beer-tasting event at the South County Civic Center in Delray Beach.
The Best of the Belgians Beer Fest is an event where those who are 21 and up can try unlimited samples of beers made by national and local breweries. The fest will feature various Trappist, Belgian, and Belgian-style beers. The event is a collaboration between the Boca Ballet Theatre and breweries such as Bon Beer Voyage, Barrel of Monks Brewing, and Cavalier Distributors. Those with VIP admission can enjoy Belgian-themed food in a private area at the venue.
The Boca Ballet Theatre is an organization that was launched by a group of families in 1990. The dance company wishes to empower the community's youth through compelling performances and professional dance instruction. Students at the theatre have worked with guest dancers from groups such as the New York City Ballet and the National Ballet of Canada. Jane Tyree and Dan Guin are the organization's current artistic directors.
The beer fest will start at 2:00pm on Saturday, February 17th. General admission to the festival will cost $50 per person, and VIP entry to the event is $90. All guests will receive a festival glass to use at the event.
