10,000 Beds, Inc. will hold a celebratory breakfast in March at the Courtyard by Marriott Delray Beach.
The 10,000 Beds Breakfast of Heroes is a series where community members and industry professionals involved in the addiction, recovery, and mental health space are thanked for their service. The series started in the organizer’s hometown of Cedar City and will be coming to cities like Boston, Scottsdale, and Newport Beach. The funds raised during each breakfast will support individuals and families impacted by substance use and mental health challenges.
The non-profit organization 10,000 Beds, Inc. helps people find help for addiction by partnering with treatment programs around the country. The group actively works to protect an addict’s right to treatment and promote good ethics in the recovery industry. Jean Krisle founded the organization in 2014. Since formation, it has awarded more than $1,000,000 in scholarships and has helped over 250 people with their recovery.
The breakfast will be on Tuesday, March 14 from 7:30 am to 9:00 am. Those involved in the addiction and mental health industry do not need to pay for the event, though they must register in advance. Sponsorships for businesses interested in supporting 10,000 Beds Inc. range between $500 and $10,000.
